Although many individual Ukrainian Golfers have been playing Golf for many years around Australia, actual Ukrainian Social Golf Clubs took a while to get established.

Interstate games between Sydney and Melbourne have been played annually since 1989, whilst Melbourne and Geelong games were played for several years from 1989 thru 1994.

In 1991, with the support of both the Sydney and Melbourne clubs, the United Golf Association of America was formed in the USA.

The first Ukrainian World Golf (Australia vs USA) competition was held in Hawaii in 1994.
