• Golf Clinics

Well organized golfing events will be run by the AUVGC in conjunction with professionally tutored golf clinics at golf courses and driving ranges followed by social activities at the venue.

• Enjoyment
  
  Sporting events will be designed to be primarily enjoyable as well as introducing juniors to golf and teaching them new skills as well as providing members the opportunity to meet new parents and developing new friendships.
  
• Parental involvement
  
  Parents will be encouraged to participate in the activity through commitment to children’s travel requirements or alternatively the club may provide transport.
  
• Mateship & Recognition
  
  Golf improvement equates to self and peer status improvement.

Youth Promotion

• Advertisements

Junior golf development events will be widely promoted throughout the Ukrainian community through other organisations such as Plast, Cym and Churches.

• Create interest
  
  Provide new skills, competitive attitudes and settings to meet new people with easy accessibility of ‘new’ courses.

• Visual presence

Advertising of youth events will provide the Ukrainian community information channels about the club’s vision and purpose.

• Increase membership through recruitment
  
  Increase numbers of Ukies playing golf through targeted membership drives.

  Most events will be will be free to juniors and prizes will be offered to recognise first rate effort.
   
• Subsidised Green Fees
  
  Parents with juniors at golf clinic will be offered subsidised golf during clinics. Subsidies may be available for novelty events.

Events

• Novelty Events
  
  Novelty events will be included as part of the scheduled program of events and may include indoor golf.
• Games Timing
  
  Flexibility will be a consideration in timing of events. I.e. morning versus afternoon.
