Match Play

Handicaps to be used in the forthcoming Match play Championship will be the current ‘Playing Handicap’ as listed in the Monthly Newsletter.

‘Historical’ handicaps will no longer be used ie the handicap at which members commenced their Match play is no longer ‘locked-in’ for the duration of the Champion ship.

For example, the Round 1 Match play handicaps will be the Playing Handicap as listed in the November Newsletter. Likewise, the Round 2 Match play handicaps will be the Playing Handicaps as listed in the February Newsletter. (Round 1 in November; Round 2 in February), etc.

Golf Link Card Holders

If you have a Golink no.and you haven’t advised Michael Masendycz, please do so!

As we are now using ‘Playing Handicaps’ as listed in the Monthly Newsletter there will be a lag between the ‘Playing Handicap’ and the most up-to-date Golf Link handicap as time is required to prepare the Newsletter and send to members before the next game. This lag will be caught-up at the next month’s Newsletter.

The handicaps table in the Newsletter will indicate for which monthly game the handicaps are to be used eg the Handicaps’ table for November will indicate ‘November 09’.

Summary

Each player will use the ‘Playing Handicap’ as listed in the latest Newsletter !!
