2007 Youth Program

The first youth promotion day was held at Keilor Park Golf Club on the Sunday 18 February 2007 in order to introduce our younger Ukrainians to the fine game of golf potentially encourage younger members to join our club.

This activity was followed by a Sausage Sizzle and was very well received.

Acknowledgements

Mick Masendycz organised the day in conjunction with the teaching professional Wayne Podmore and is to be congratulated on a very fine effort in making the day a huge success.

The expressions on some of the younger participants was priceless and the continued well into the evening practicing all they had learnt.

Congratulations go to Slawko Kohut for beating George Makohon in the Matchplay final at Goonawarra on 30 May.

I believe it was a pretty even game and was won on the 18^th. Commiserations George!
