 The first 'hole in one' for the club was scored by Mykola Charenko on the 25th Apr at the Bacchus Marsh Golf course on the 3rd Par 3 Hole. Being 'his' day he went on to win 'A' Grade, the Longest drive and a nearest the pin to prove that it did not get to him.

During the year the club grew in strength and financial stability and it returned the support it received from the Ukrainian community over the previous years by itself becoming a sponsor of the Ukrainian National Volleyball championships in 1990, and the Verxovyna dancing group trip to Canada 1994
