The first club event took place on 24^th April 1988 at the Bundoora Golf course, with 36 members participating in a Ambrose event on a glorious summery day.

Highlights of the year:

1.    After the initial 5 games, handicaps were calculated for all players, and 'A" and 'B' grade divisions were created.

2.    At the Moorabin game the player with the biggest smile was Mrs Stefania Zylan.

• The only Lady member, and
• She has been playing golf  for only 10 months.
